Can anyone tell me how much should I expect to pay for the optional foldable ROPS on a B7800? Are there any real drawbacks to getting the foldable ROPS?

Off the cuff about 100. It is needed for the backhoes and is taller then the non-folding when up. Resale would mean any application and might be worth 200! ....

If I have a B7500 with a non-folding ROPS, would I have to get a folding one if I wanted to use a backhoe? If so, how much would it cost for my tractor? ....

Thanks Art,

I had no idea I'd need it if I added a backhoe later on. $100 is definitely worth it. I was thinking it would come in handy when I'd need to clean out the manure from the overhang shed. Now it's a wheel barrow job and a pain in the ass. ....

Art you might correct me but for that extra hundred dollars you also get the mid mount drive shaft if you ever want to add a belly mower don't you? ....

Tom, I won't go with that one. They are extra on all of them at this time. Many people today never use the mid PTO system other then for mid mount mowing or front snow removal. ....

Johnny1 the make of a backhoe would also make a difference. I'd say off the cuff a little under four hundred will have the fold down rops to you but I don't have the price book with me either!!!! On the second attempt! Looking at the price book, retail is at 580. Time flys when your having fun, but so do the prices! ....

Just remember guys,

With the foldeable ROPS, comes a hidden danger - they are taller, and consequently when you are driving the unit into the garage or shed, remember your clearance! Too many have flipped, and/or wiped out headers or both without realizing in time.
Just a word of caution
